Memberships  – AANR Education Foundation

The AANR Education Foundation is the Charitable 501(c)(3) partner of the American Association for Nude Recreation. The goals of the foundation are the same as those of AANR excluding political and lobbying efforts. The foundations goals are to educate the public about the values and benefits of nude recreation. We would like more Americans to understand the practice of nudism as it is commonly accepted in Europe. Nude recreation is a healthy activity and fun for individuals and families without underlying sexual implications.

The Foundation has funded scholarships since its inception to college students who have a background in nude recreation. It has also helped to fund art shows held by local clubs. The American Nudism Research Library has also received support from the foundation. The foundation has helped to support youth activities including the youth summer camps.

A new direction that the Foundation is taking is the establishment of club membership categories. We hope that most AANR clubs will support the Foundation by becoming members. A small fundraiser event could easily fund a membership for even small clubs. Clubs can benefit from membership by having the Foundation logo and level of membership displayed on their websites. Clubs can apply for grants to help with any project that will further the understanding and acceptance of family-oriented nude recreation.
